The 7th grade boys basketball team traveled to Franklin Central to take on the Flashes Thursday night. It was an evenly matched game the whole way, with both teams exchanging buckets the whole first half. Franklin Central was able to grab a 12 point lead in the third quarter, but Brownsburg battled back to make it a 4 point game in the 4th quarter. There were chances to fully close the gap late but the Bulldogs ended up falling short, 48-40. Aaron Cupp led the team in scoring with 16 points. Carter Spears played a great all around game both offensively and defensively, chipping in 5 points of his own. Evan Arnold added 7, Adam Poisel hit some big shots late on his way to 6 points, and Grayson Woodburn filled out the scoring adding 5 points of his own. The team is off for winter break, their next game is Tuesday January 6th vs Carmel.
