Brownsburg West Middle School

The BWMS 8th Grade Baseball Team defeated Zionsville West, 6-1. Griffin Rhoads stepped on the bump first for Brownsburg. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and one run over six and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking none. Parker Condon got the save facing only needing to face two batters to end the game. Ethan Wise led Brownsburg with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. Wise went 1-for-3 on the day. Lars Carey pinch hit in the bottom of the 6th and hit a line drive to right center scoring 1 run to help the Bulldogs take control. Walker Wilson, Jake Wiggins, Lars Carey, Wise, and Jackson Renner each collected one hit for Brownsburg. Bulldogs turned one double play in the game.
